Biological Assessment and Survey Services Program (BASSP) provides biological surveys and assessments
for various tribal and non-tribal entities. If a department or company wishes to conduct a project on reservation
land, this program is here to help and ensure they do not adversely affect endangered plant and animal
species on that project area.

Some examples of projects that this program can assess are fencing, road-building, piping, creating of livestock
range land or seeding, tamerisk removal, etc.

The BASSP does not conduct archeological surveys or environmental assessments. It's primary objective is to focus specifically on
Biological Assessments (BA’s).
