Linear Project Distance (total) A linear project is defined as a commercial-scale utility ROW (such as cross-country transport pipelines or electric lines) where the post-construction condition resembles that of the surrounding natural landscape. Permanently altered rights-of-way, roadways, and highways are not classified as linear projects by NNHP. Utilities directly serving homes are not considered linear projects.
Non Linear Project Area (total) Any project that doesn't qualify as linear.
